In 1ml, we offer the ClickZip Needle Retractable Safety Syringe
1. Upon opening the ClickZip, do not depress the plunger fully before filling. This will avoid activating the safety retraction mechanism.
2. Draw medication to be administered into the syringe; following standard aseptic procedure.
3. Inject medication by depressing the plunger.
4. Once completing the injection and syringe is withdrawn away from the body, depress the plunger further to engage the safety mechanism. You will hear a distinct click.
5. Holding the barrel with the opposite hand, pull the plunger back and you will see the needle tip into the barrel.
6. Once the needle has been retracted to the end of the barrel, break the plunger off, leaving the used needle inside the barrel. Discard plunger and used syringe in a relative waste container.
