Life Systems Introduces the Rosie Smart Wheelchair Scale
Savannah, GA – November 2, 2009 -- Life Systems Inc. has introduced the Rosie Smart Wheelchair Scale, designed specifically for the needs of long term care facilities. The Rosie Smart Scale is driven by intuitive operating software that stores up to 100 wheelchair or chair weights in memory. This allows the caregiver to quickly and easily tare the wheelchair or chair weight and avoid manually calculating the resident’s net weight.
The Rosie Smart Scale is Bluetooth-enabled and features automatic calibration, computerized self-testing and automatic or numeric entry of tare weights for ease-of-use. It is equipped with robust stainless steel load cells for durability. The scale has more than 20 hours of battery run time, making it practical for long term care use and has a capacity of 800 pounds.
The scale is fitted with wheels to roll throughout the facility for caregiver and resident convenience. The platform lowers for weight capture and then folds up to save storage space when not in use. The Rosie Smart Scale does not require recalibration after movement.
The scale includes a stainless steel handrail and can be operated as a standing scale as well.
